Robo.to: Email to up yours!

Until you have the mobile app installed in your phone (coming soon), the way to get your photos and video published as your Robo.to status update is to simply email it.

1. First, add the Uploader module by selecting it from the menu at the bottom of your Robo.to card. Then copy the unique email address it prints out for you. Add this to your mobile phone address book.

2. Select what you want Robo.to to do when you email it a photo or video. If you have your Facebook and Flickr module activated with your account you can select to relay it to those services as well.

Try it! Take a photo or video using your mobile phone then email it to your Robo.to address.

Note: Long videos will be cropped down. Larger images will be cropped to a square.

I was wondering if I could find someone on the homepage.
Like the bottom ones are clickable but not the top ones.

is there a way to add a caption to a video when emailing it from your phone? ive tried putting it in the subject line of the email and the text of the email, but it doesnt show up with the update?

Trent (sorry I mistyped your name in the previous response),
It should be the subject line. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for you. Can you describe what email app you are using in which phone so we can try to reproduce it?

Any email would do. Does not have to be from your phone.
